Late last week the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) quietly released their “First Look” U.S. country report on the PIAAC survey. (As you might have guessed, this report, which was originally supposed to be released concurrently with the OECD’s initial reports on the survey, was delayed due to the federal government shutdown.)
